In the summer of 2017, my wife went to look at dogs, as many of us do, with no intent on adopting. At the time we had 2 dogs and 2 rabbits (plus some rabbits we were fostering). But when she saw this Baby dog with her cute baby face, she couldn’t resist. After a day or two, I gave in and said yes… as I always do!
When my wife went back to adopt Baby, she noticed another dog in in the corner of the same pen. Baby was penned up with another small, white dog. This other dog was scared. She was cowering in the corner, looking about as sad as you can imagine.
My wife asked about the dog in the corner. Her name… Layla.
Both Baby and Layla came from the same bad situation. Breeders 🙁
It’s almost impossible to imagine Baby without her best friend in the entire world, Layla! My wife knew it right away. They could not be separated. So… we adopted TWO dogs that day.
Baby loves to snuggle, as you can imagine. She is he cutest after waking from a long nap, you can see her face all squished 🙂 She also LOVES to eat. It’s her favorite time! She certainly gets the zoomies, running around the house.
We love baby, even if she does snore louder than a black bear!
Both Baby and Layla come from Providence Animal Center (just like our boy, Riley!)
